Stephanie Sayfie Aagaard Inducted into Iron Arrow at University of Miami

Stephanie Sayfie AagaardStephanie Sayfie Aagaard, Director of Major Gifts, Corporate Relations, Marketing and Events has been inducted into Iron Arrow, the University of Miami’s highest honor and oldest tradition.  The honor is bestowed upon individuals who best exemplify the five qualities of Iron Arrow: love of alma mater, character, leadership, scholarship, and humility.  Stephanie has been dedicated to the University for many years, presently working at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, but filling many other roles at the University of Miami over the years.

Founded by University of Miami’s first president, Bowman Foster Ashe, in 1926 only a month after the University opened, the society is steeped in the rituals of the Seminole Indian tribe and honors individuals who best exemplify the qualities of Iron Arrow.  It is the University’s highest honor and can be granted to students, alumni, faculty, or staff. Iron Arrow members are easily identified by their distinctive Seminole jackets that are worn at official functions, including meetings, Homecoming, and tappings.
